COVID-19 Temporary Closure

Hamburg Gaming temporarily closed.

The situation surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly developing and Hamburg Gaming continues to be focused on efforts at our facility to protect the health and safety of our guests and employees. In coordination with the New York State Gaming Commission, we are acting in accordance with the state order to temporarily close the venue beginning at 8 pm today, March 16, until further notice. All activities are canceled, including promotions.

We will be communicating as quickly as possible with our employees to assist them during this period. We thank them for their ongoing diligence and ability to adapt in a very fluid and unprecedented circumstance.

To date, we have worked to protect public health by following New York State guidelines including:

  • Reducing both gaming machines and occupancy to create social distancing.
  • Following CDC guidelines on sanitizing protocols and cleaning throughout our venue.

We will remain in close touch with State and County health officials and we look forward to reopening Hamburg Gaming shortly and continuing to provide a clean, safe environment. How long will Hamburg Gaming be closed?

We are closely monitoring the situation and following the guidelines issued by federal, state and local health authorities, including the CDC. What is being done for employees – will they continue to get paid and receive benefits?

We have communicated with our employees about how we are able to assist them during this period. We thank them for their ongoing diligence and ability to adapt in a very fluid and unprecedented circumstance.

Will my offer/promotion be honored once the gaming location is reopened?

Right now, we are focused on the health and safety of our guests and employees. Once we reopen, we will communicate our upcoming promotions as well as our policy on outstanding promotions. Until that time, guests should consider all outstanding promotions as suspended. But don’t worry, we have lots more exciting programs planned.

Are the food venues on property offering take out?

What about my Lucky North® Club points? Will they expire while you’re closed?

Your Lucky North® Club points are safe. Hamburg Gaming has suspended all points and tier status expiry during the closure and until further notice. Lucky North® Club points will not expire while the property is closed.

Will I retain my Lucky North® Club status?

Your Lucky North® Club status will remain unchanged while the property is closed.

Where can I obtain my win/loss statement for 2019?

Please visit our website Win/Loss Request page to complete a 2019 win/loss request form, personal information will be required to complete the request including:

Player ID (your member ID on your player’s card, not your PIN)
Driver's License Number (not license plate)

At this time only 2019 win/loss statements can be processed; Hamburg Gaming will be able to process other years once we reopen.

The information provided is in response to a request by the person identified. The activity shown in the statement is associated with the player's club card only. Hence, no assurance is made that this activity was accumulated by the person identified. My voucher with cash is past 45 days old? How do I receive my cash?

Hamburg Gaming will honor all cash vouchers that expired during the temporary closure once we reopen.

I have a winning racing wager ticket. How do I cash it before it expires?

Any questions regarding racing should be directed to Buffalo Raceway.
